What Is Neontraveller?

This is a blog to record some of my adventures on the road for the next few months. I am taking a sabbatical from work and “flash packing” or “holidaying” in South America. My itinerary covers:

  • Colombia – Bogota, Medellin, Tayrona national park, Cartagena
  • Chile – Santiago, Valparaiso, Maipo wine tour, Atacama Desert, Puerto Varas, Alerce Andino and Torres del Paine national parks
  • Peru – Lima, Cusco, Rainbow mountain, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca
  • Bolivia – La Paz, Uyuni salt flats
  • Argentina – Buenos Aires, Iguassu falls, El Chalten, Perito Moreno, El Calafate, Mount Fitzroy, Bariloche lake district
  • Uruguay – Montevideo, Punte del Este, Jose Ignacio (beach and ranch)
